- Mission of the Chapter
Operational Research Society of Kenya (ORSK) was created in 2019 as a non-profit professional body linking experts and scholars in Operations Research. The objective of the society is to provide forum for Operational Research Scientists and Industry in order to advance knowledge and application of Operations Research tools to provide optimal decisions and solutions in the current dynamic business environment. ORSK aspires to be an unmatched professional network for optimal business decisions and solutions. ORSK seeks to provide optimal business decisions and sustainable business solutions through application of Operations Research tools. Our objectives are :
- to popularize Operations Research among scholars and practitioners in Kenya and beyond through workshops, conferences and seminars.
- to enhance application of Operations Research models in business problem solving and decision making through development of Operations Research laboratory.
- to gather, compile and disseminate information/report on operations research through publications
