The Tunisian Decision Aid Society (TDAS) is happy to invite you and your students to attend the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Business Analytics Conference organized by TDAS, AFROS and INFORMS Bahrain International Group (https://analytics.tdasociety.org/).

The conference program and links to virtual rooms are given in the following links: https://analytics.tdasociety.org/?page_id=100. Please note that the time zone currently being used in the conference program is Greenwich Mean Time Zone (GMT).

To obtain a certificate from INFORMS Bahrain International Group, you need to register through this link https://forms.office.com/r/Ytjy2mnHeS before you attend the conference.

These are some preliminary rules and guidance to improve your virtual experience with the online conference:

  • Join your session a few minutes early if possible. This allows you to make sure everything is working and gives time to make any adjustments.
  • Once you access the session, please be sure to keep your microphone and camera switched off unless you are one of the Speakers or the Session Chair. You will be allowed to use your microphone or the chat during the question time.
  • Avoid talking over others. Unlike an in-person meeting, its sometimes difficult to distinguish between multiple conversations leading to confusion.
  • Be clear, concise. Speak in a concise and clear manner and tone so that everyone can hear what you are saying.
  • Camera use. Using (or not using) your camera is up to you. A limited number of windows will show for attendees of the meeting. These automatically show/hide based on participation. Be sure to pause/turn off your camera if may be distracting to others. Don’t walk around with your camera on (mobile device) – It is also distracting.
  • Use chat window. Consider, especially for large meetings, asking your questions in the chat window.
  • Meeting recording. Recording sessions or plenary is not appropriate. Please don’t attempt to record any meetings.
